SPECIAL K PROMOTES A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE FOR CANADIANS WITH SPECIAL INSERTS IN-PACK
|
TORONTO, ON, January 3, 2006 Year after year shape management tops Canadians' New Year's Resolution lists. To ring in 2006 on a healthy note, Kellogg's Special K cereal is offering help - and it is as close as the local grocery store.
Throughout January, Kellogg's Special K cereal continues its commitment to simple solutions for active living and shape management by offering Canadians one of three premium inserts valued at $15 each: a free Special K Toning Ball and two free DVDs from STOTT PILATES in specially marked boxes of Special K cereal and Vector meal replacement while quantities last.
The toning ball is emerging as a popular new exercise equipment trend because it can be used to stretch and strengthen the body by increasing exercise resistance, and can be incorporated easily into aerobic classes, yoga, Pilates routines and everyday activities. Kellogg's Special K Toning Ball from STOTT PILATES is a soft, weighted toning exercise ball that gets its weight by being filled with water, sand, salt or other similar materials.
Each DVD in the Kellogg's Special K Toning Ball Workout Collection from STOTT PILATES features a 20 minute exercise routine led by renowned master instructor, Moira Merrithew. The exclusive workouts were designed by mind-body fitness leader STOTT PILATES for use with the Special K and Vector toning balls. The available DVDs include:
- Arm Toning: You can sculpt and define your arms and upper body with this energizing workout
- Total Toning: You can get sleek and strong all over with this seamless combination of Toning Ball resistance and Pilates precision
The red and blue toning balls will be found in specially marked boxes of Special K Original cereal and Vector meal replacement. Kellogg's Toning Ball DVDs from STOTT PILATES will be found in specially marked boxes of Special K Red Berries cereal, Special K Soy cereal, Special K Vanilla Almond cereal and Vector meal replacement. A balanced diet, incorporating low-fat choices such as Special K cereal, combined with exercise can assist in achieving and maintaining a healthy body weight. And, Kellogg's wants to make it even easier for Canadians to succeed by bringing both to the breakfast table.
